Even as a French, gotta admit it, when looking for comics, you look for English ones, that's the basics for comic books on the Internet. I'd say Chinese is pretty well-developed too but then again, that's another problem XD But in any case, English is the more important, even if some people would probably love to see your web-comics in French, cause that would really suck not to be able to read a French web-comic because it is only written in English XD Yeah, definitively French and English
I speak in spanish XD lol but i voted for english, I think you should do it in french... because is your first languaje, right? and in english too.. because is universal and other persons from otherwise can read them :3
You should write in whatever language you feel you can write better with. If that doesn't matter, then whichever country is your top demographic should get the printed/official translation. = ) My native language is English, but I would read it in Japanese or Russian. (Comics and Manga make good practice!)
